Post-it says: ‘Sometimes you just have to do it!’
Right now, I’m planning the South Pole ending of this adventure…
My tractor arrived at the ‘Cape of Good Hope’ in South Africa after driving more than 3,8 years and 38.000km’s, alone on a tractor, with my dog. This epic journey was a search for inspiring people, initiatives and stories.
Through this website thousands of people worldwide, and media, followed the adventures of the ‘Tractor Girl’ on her way to the South Pole, the children’s book ‘End of the World’.
Coming expedition I’ll fill this website again with my adventures, stories and film-footage.
Currently I’m working on the movie, a tv-series and a childrens book and am preparing the last fase of this project: the South Pole-leg, with tracor. I’ll write about my progress on this website.
The last fase of this epic journey to the ‘End of the World’ will finish on the South Pole. There I’d like to build a big snowman with the ‘dreams of the world’ in it’s belly.
As a symbolical ending of a true children’s book story.
My aim is to create a stage for the beautiful stories I’ve encountered and collected, and for inspiring people who dream, dare and dó. Stories that say: ‘the world is as beautiful as we make it… ‘
My journey’s motto is: Sometimes you just have to do it!
And if you can drive a tractor to the South Pole, then what is impossible?
Do you wish to become a part of this adventure?
As was the reality with the last leg of my journey: one can only achieve things thanks to the help of many others!
If there’s anything you can do, and you feel like lending a hand, contact me! That would be great! (leaving a note in my guestbook works!) Thank you.
To date my first book ‘On a tractor to the South Pole’ (De Geus publishers, Netherlands) has sold nearly 10.000 copies. (you can buy it in all bookstores in the Netherlands and online: unfortunately only available in Dutch)
Do you want to be gripped by my inspiration? Attribute to the last fase of this project? Hear how I’m doing?
I give motivational talks, see (SpeakersAcademy): http://www.speakersacademy.nl/speakers/manon-ossevoort
